The Murray Grey Breed was a genetic phenomenon that began in Australia on the Murray River Region of New South Wales. In 1905 on the property of Peter Sutherland a light roan shorthorn cow, when bred to various Aberdeen Angus bulls produced only grey calves. Our base cow herd has been tried and tested over many years. We pride ourselves on the genetics our animals have developed.
